WORKING WITH A LAWYER SHOULDN'T BE INTIMIDATING

Many lawyers can be intimidating.

They speak in legal jargon, which they don't or can't explain.  Their bills are unpredictable and often larger than expected.  They have junior lawyers, or non-lawyers, do most of your work.  They're hard to reach and inconvenient to meet with.

It doesn't have to be that way.  For more than ten years, I've run my practice based on the simple principle that everything should be as easy as possible for my clients.  With me you get:

  • Convenience.  You don’t need to carve time out of your hectic schedule for me.  I’ll meet with you when and where it is convenient for you -- daytime, evenings, or weekends; your home or office, or mine.
  • Clarity.  I speak plain English, not legalese. I give you a clear and concise explanation of all the issues involved and answer all of your questions.
  • Prompt Service.  I won’t forget about you.  When I take you on as a client, your work becomes my top priority.
  • Personal Attention.  I don’t delegate to junior lawyers or secretaries.  Everything I do for you receives my full personal and professional attention.
  • Reasonable fees.  For most matters, I'm able to offer a flat fee; you'll know in advance exactly how much you will pay.  Even where I can’t offer a flat fee (in litigation, for example, your attorney fee is often affected by how your opponent reacts), my experience enables me to give you a realistic fee estimate.  Either way, my fees are typically lower than you would expect.
